Odoo · UAE accounting

Accounting that meets UAE rules, without spreadsheets

VAT, corporate tax, e-invoicing: accounting obligations have tightened markedly in the UAE. We configure Odoo accounting to meet them natively, and train your teams to European standards.

Your obligations

What the law requires from your books

  • 5% VAT

Standard rate, zero rate, exemptions, reverse charge: every transaction needs the right VAT category, all the more with e-invoicing.

  • Corporate tax

9% on taxable income above AED 375,000. It demands reliable books, properly classified accounts and, in some cases, audited financial statements.

  • Record keeping

Books, invoices and supporting documents must be kept for several years (seven years for corporate tax) and produced quickly in an audit.

  • E-invoicing

From 2027, your B2B and B2G invoices become structured data sent through an accredited provider. Your accounting must keep up.

With Odoo

What we put in place

  • Official UAE localisation

UAE chart of accounts and taxes provided by Odoo, tax invoices and simplified tax invoices, bilingual layouts with Arabic.

  • VAT201 return

The VAT report follows the official FTA format: output VAT, input VAT, reverse charge, zero-rated and exempt sales, exportable for filing.

  • Corporate tax report

Net profit, exempt income, disallowed expenses: Odoo computes the tax, provided accounts are properly classified. We do that classification with you.

  • Bank and reconciliation

Imported bank statements, assisted reconciliation, automatic payment follow-ups and real-time cash visibility.

  • Multi-company, multi-currency

Free Zone and Mainland, UAE subsidiary and European parent, AED, EUR and USD: consolidation and inter-company entries in one system.

  • Analytic accounting

Profitability by project, client, business line or outlet, without spreadsheet rework.
